iPhone 7 Plus is supercharged by Apple's fastest ever smartphone chip. The A10 Fusion quad-core processor is faster and more efficient. The architecture has two high performance cores that can run up to 2x the speed of iPhone 6, and high efficiency cores that can run at one-fifth of the power of the other cores. It works faster when you need it and conserves power when you don't. You'll also get more time between charges than ever before, with up to two more hours on iPhone 7 than the previous generation.
Two cameras that shoot as one
The 12MP wide-angle camera works in tandem with a 12MP telephoto camera that can get even closer. This means higher-quality zoom from father away, with optical zoom at 2x and an improved digital zoom at up to 10x for photos and 6x for video. Coming soon, the Depth-of-field effect will use the dual-cameras to create a sharply focused portrait with bokeh effect blurred background, making it easy to create the perfect portrait.
The Quad-LED True Tone flash adjusts to the colour temperature of the surroundings for sharper, better lit photos. Videos can be shot up to 4K, with Slo-mo support in 1080p and 720p HD. The front facing 7MP camera allows you to Facetime at higher resolutions with wider colour capture for natural-looking skin tones.
Stereo sound
The stereo speakers deliver 2x the audio output of previous generations, with increased dynamic range for better music, video and calls. The iPhone 7 features a Lightning connector for your headphones. If you want to listen through your old headphones, the box includes a 3.5mm headphone jack adapter.
Fingerprint security
With Touch ID, your iPhone is more secure than ever. Touch ID lets you securely unlock your iPhone with your fingerprint. It can be also used to approve purchases from iTunes, iBooks and the App Store without the need for a password.
